Monday
Ethics Case for Students Discussion - 15 minutes
Tara, who works for a clothing retailer, was just promoted to leisurewear department manager. Recent sales figures show that a certain line of T-shirts is not selling well. When Tara investigates, she discovers that the shirts have an offensive and sexist message. Unfortunately, the retailer is contractually obligated to purchase 300 more of these T-shirts from the supplier. What should Tara do? (Ethical Principles Involved: Integrity, Accountability, Rule of Law, Viability)
4a Activity - 60 minutes
Make a Google Slide Presentation on the following. Select a marketing occupation of interest and collect information about it from as many resources as possible. We will be presenting on Thursday. You may work alone or with a partner. Students should obtain the following pieces of information:

Marketing Videos - 45 minutes
What type of marketing videos are used and posted to YouTube? There are currently 11 videos posted to GR YouTube channel. Watch each one and write a reflection on a Google Doc answering the following questions:
Granby Ranch Research - 45 minutes
We are visiting Granby Ranch next week. Check out their website and each tab/department. You will make a 2 minute screen capture as your background in Flipgrid. Discuss all the departments you can find on their website and how you feel they are marketed. Think about audience, pricing, logo, colors etc.
Presentations - 30 minutes
You will be presenting your presentations today.
