1. YouTube Getting Started YT-1 - 60 minutes
Could you be your own brand? Are you an influencer? Using the topics in our discussion, make a video introducing yourself as if you were a "YouTube star". Think about how you would want to be introduced to the world. What are your hobbies? Do you have a unique skill?
Here are the challenges for you in establishing a YouTube account to be used for marketing. Please do the following:
1 minute total in length. Upload to Google Classroom. Record in landscape.

- Edited in Adobe Premiere or Premiere elements
- If you can create a personal YouTube account using your personal GMAIL. Be aware of the privacy settings.
- Do NOT edit the video on your phone
- Landscape (think YouTube format, not TikTok)
- If you can, create a channel & customize the channel
- Upload MP4 file to classroom OR upload a video to your channel and make it UNLISTED, share that link to classroom
- Add favorites to your channel if you have one.
1 minute total in length. Upload to Google Classroom. Record in landscape.

3. YouTube-Advertising Presentation Video YT-3 - 60 minutes
Check out what YouTube has to say about advertising here: http://goo.gl/NCrx6V Then, search the internet for additional information about YouTube advertising. You may not edit the video on your phone. Check Google Classroom for your Google Document.

- Video presentation must be at least 1 minute long.
- Landscape format
- Your face and voice should be in the video.
- At least 90% of the presentation video should include your face and voice.
- USE FLIPGRID if you want. You can use something like Google Slides if you want in addition to video. Make something and record on Screencastify. It's up to you how you want to get it done.
- Send me a link or the video file to classroom.

Create a calendar - 30 minutes
Watch the video, then go to Google Classroom and open the Social Media Calendar. You will be filling in the calendar for the current month we are in with the content you will be creating and posting.

On a Google Doc, start creating MPHS Twitter posts. Your posts will be no more than 280 characters. Pictures need to be 1200 x 675. You can resize them in Canva. You should have at least 10 posts. One Twitter post each for the next 10 days for a total of 10 days. Look up the EGSD calendar and use those events if you want.

Create a banner in Canva for both your Twitter and what would be your YouTube account. Upload the file (not the link) to classroom.
