Movie Poster Introduction - 20 minutes
Let's talk about movie posters. What do they normally look like? We'll look at some examples then you will design your own.

Design a movie poster from a REAL movie - 60 minutes

• 8.5x11 size  - 10 points
• Replace your face on a characters face on the poster - 10 points​
• Large title  - 10 points
• Colors compliment each other - 10 points
• Include your name somewhere on the poster - 10 points
• Fills up white space completely - 10 points
• Overall design. Looks like an actual movie poster - 20 points
• Original design - 20 points
• ​First SAVE your PSD file. Then, you will have to go to LAYER, FLATTEN IMAGE first. Then click SAVE AS and select JPG from the file types. DO NOT SAVE IF IT STILL SHOWS PSD IN THE FILE TYPE. YOU WILL LOSE ALL THE LAYER.
• Needs to be original, be creative, make your own poster. It should not look similar to anything else online.  I should not be able to Google your movie poster and find something similar online.
